This year marks a major milestone for CHAP as we celebrate 50 years in business. Our story is defined by growth and change, but it has always been shaped by people. To mark the occasion, we welcomed colleagues past and present, along with their families, to our new offices. It was an evening of reflection, laughter, and pride in what has been built over five decades.
Among those in attendance were several long-standing former employees, including a trio whose story captures the CHAP spirit. Between them, they contributed over 100 years of service. Now retired, their connection goes back even further. Dunne, Willie and John first met in Primary One and have remained close ever since. After decades working side by side at CHAP, they still meet weekly for a walk, proof that some friendships last a lifetime.
Their presence was a reminder that CHAP has always been about more than work. It is about relationships, loyalty, and shared purpose. The fact that lifelong friendships are formed here, and continue long after retirement, says a lot about the culture at the heart of CHAP.
As we celebrate this milestone and begin this next chapter in our new offices, we recognise the founders, today’s team, and the former colleagues who helped build CHAP over the past 50 years. That history gives us a strong platform for what comes next, with our people continuing to drive the business forward.
Here’s to 50 years of CHAP, and to the friendships, memories, and shared successes that make the journey meaningful.
