An ambitious project, lifting the streetscape quality, between the world renowned Marischal College and the new and architecturally imposing Marischal Square development, this contract included the following:

• Realignment of junction between Broad Street, Gallowgate and Upper Kirkgate
• Installation of high quality granite setts and Caithness slabs
• Installation of a new water fountain, including underground plant room
• Raised lawn area and tree planters
• Construction of reinforced concrete slabs over areas of poor bearing strata
• Installation of new external lighting to Marischal College
• Accommodating the Annual Christmas Market and Great Aberdeen Run within contract period
• Traffic light alterations
