Undertake/assist with general civil engineering labour tasks and activities including; road works, drainage, slab and kerb laying, cable-pulling, concrete works etc. Undertake work tasks to the required standard in a safe and good quality manner.
Additional Duties:
Ensuring site is kept safe and tidy at all times.
Look after and clean/maintain where trained items of equipment for operational and safety use.
Qualifications & Competency
Essential Criteria:
An ability to understand and act upon work instructions, guidance, and training, in line with the overall goals and aims of a particular piece of work.
Ability to learn and develop work skills.
Ability to work under supervision and undertake some basic assigned tasks unsupervised after training.
Demonstrate experience of using relevant equipment and machinery on site for which qualified/trained to use
Ability to work in a positive way as part of a team.
Basic awareness of health and safety issues and a duty of care towards colleagues.
CSCS card is essential (holds or currently undertaking or willing to achieve in a timely manner).
