Breaking Ground at Broughty Ferry Care Home

CHAP Group is proud to announce that construction is officially underway on a new £14 million care home in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, following a recent sod-cutting ceremony.

The 54-bed facility, developed by Meallmore, will provide specialist care for older people, including those living with dementia and age-related conditions. Once complete, the home will create up to 70 full-time equivalent jobs in the local area and offer premium amenities such as a cinema, café, private dining room, and beauty salon.

Designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings on Dalhousie Road, the three-storey building will feature private gardens and outdoor terraces, ensuring a high-quality living environment for future residents.

Paul Matthew, CHAP Group’s Dundee Construction Director, commented: “We’re thrilled to be working with Meallmore to deliver this new care home, which will provide first-class facilities for residents. We look forward to working with Meallmore, the design team, and the wider community as we deliver the project.”

CHAP Group is delighted to be delivering this project in partnership with Meallmore and looks forward to supporting the local community throughout the build.
